DroidOS Keyboard Picker

A lightweight Android utility from KatsuyaMaki LLC for choosing keyboards, including optional keyboard switching on supported Samsung foldable cover screens.

No ads No analytics No account No developer server

Features

Open Android's standard keyboard picker without elevated access.
Manual Samsung cover-screen keyboard switching using user-authorized Shizuku access.
Optional Auto Restore is a one-time Google Play purchase with no subscription. Automatic Restore can restore the preferred keyboard after a qualifying cover-screen transition and is off by default.
No collection or transmission of typed text; no ads, analytics, or developer-operated backend.

Optional elevated access

Some Samsung cover-screen keyboard behavior is not available to ordinary applications through standard Android APIs. Cover-screen switching therefore uses Shizuku elevated access only after an in-app disclosure and explicit user authorization. Manual switches are user-initiated. If the user owns and separately enables Auto Restore, the app may also perform local automatic restoration after qualifying cover-screen transitions.
